Calendula oil is a natural oil extracted from marigold flowers (Calendula officinalis). Calendula oil has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash. It's also used as an antiseptic.
 
The linoleic acid in calendula oil nourishes your skin from the outside. They give your skin cells the ability to absorb nutrients and hold onto water longer (great for those with perpetually dry skin). On the surface, this will look like more supple, nourished, smoother skin. 
 
Our balm is made by infusing a proprietary blend of nourishing oils with dried, organically grown calendula flowers.  We don't use any petroliums, fragrances, sulfates our phthalates. This balm is baby safe and mommy approved!
